This compact wooden house is sized for small to medium pets and includes several features to improve weather resistance. A clear PVC curtain is installed over the doorway to block wind and rain while still allowing the pet to see outside. It works well as a backyard retreat or a sheltered indoor nook.
The design includes a small side platform where pets can sit off the ground before entering the main cabin. An asphalt-covered roof provides a waterproof barrier against the elements, ensuring the interior remains a dry sanctuary. The use of natural wood gives the house a traditional look that fits into most outdoor landscapes.
Assembly is straightforward, resulting in a lightweight but stable structure. The raised floor is a key detail, as it helps with insulation and prevents moisture from the grass or patio from affecting the wood. This model is a practical choice for owners of smaller dogs who need a simple, effective outdoor house.
